Nevertheless, they find that they benefit from better work habits to work more efficiently with their busy schedules.
Who Can Benefit From EF Coaching
Conditions like ADHD, generalized or social anxiety, learning disabilities and depression can lead to underdeveloped executive functioning skills in children and teens. However, a student doesn’t need to be diagnosed with any of the above conditions to experience obstacles related to executive functioning deficits. Anyone struggling to find the motivation to learn or set academic goals can see results from executive functioning coaching sessions. Some potential benefits include:- Higher levels of focus in the classroom
- Improved ability to stay on task
- Planning ahead to schedule time to complete tasks
- Better ability to memorize academic material and important dates
- Improved grades
- Healthier social skills
