Our longitudinal study measuring changes in Executive Function skills in the 16-week foundational period of coaching concluded in March of 2022, with a cohort of 692 participants.
Our Research Team used the Executive Skills Questionnaire-Revised (ESQ-R), a 25-item questionnaire that was completed by clients before coaching began and again at the 16-week point in coaching. We measured changes that occurred in domains such as planning, time management, organization, emotional regulation, and behavior regulation.
This questionnaire was originally developed by Dr. Peg Dawson and Dr. Richard Guare, authors of the well-known Smart But Scattered series of books on Executive Function - and refined by Dr. Dawson's team of researchers.
